One of the advantages of Luka studio –and one that we are particularly fond of—is that we have a group of talented designers with different expertise –visual communication, illustration, graffiti, video art, and industrial design. As if that wasn’t enough, we also manufacture the materials we design; we have printers, and production and installation personnel, all under one roof. Salto is a great example of how significant this advantage is: the creation of an intricate design of layered and transparent stickers, whose aim is to produce a rust metal appearance. After countless attempts we succeeded in producing this effect, even adding a 3D feeling to the touch. The level of execution of this project was amazing. The other solution we found for the metal stickers was a geometric game merged into the white aluminum. The floor to ceiling glass walls always requires a creative solution to allow for partial privacy; we like to preserve the original purpose of the glass –which is usually placed to allow light and to create a transparent space while maintaining a whole look.
